Got lost wandering around

It was another day of escape to the city of Hsinchu situated far north from my place. Took me 20-30 minutes to arrive by bus. In fact, I don't like squeezing among the crowd but only at such places you could meet different kinds of people and see different types of expressions.

At the end of the day, everything went well and smooth, there goes another weekend of mine =p

A B-Story

A man was driving down the road and ran out of gas. Just at that moment, a bee flew in his window.

The bee said, 'What seems to be the problem?'

'I'm out of gas,' the man replied.

The bee told the man to wait right there and flew away. Minutes later, the man watched as an entire swarm of bees flew to his car and into his gas tank. After a few minutes, the bees flew out.

'Try it now,' said one bee.

The man turned the ignition key and the car started right up. 'Wow!' the man exclaimed, 'what did you put in my gas tank'?

Worldwide Pinhole Day

It was just a random click when I browsed through this website of Black and White Photography (you know why if you have read my previous post). Every man, every expression, every color in this gentleman's blog is totally B&W (except for the fonts and words). If you have not noticed the word of the day 'Pinhole', let me re-emphasize it for you that is -- PINHOLE!

What the heck actually is a Pinhole photography? Ask my sifu and he shall recommend you his friend to help you understand better. Believe it or not, people can take photographs without using lens but pringles empty can which you just finished munching the most delicious chips on earth. What could be more interesting when you then find out there is a day called -- Worldwide Pinhole Day. LOL!

For whatever it is, I'm just somehow feeling curious now =p

Life in Black and White

I am so obsessed with black and white lately where you could see me stripping colors off my recent pictures on facebook. It is indeed addictive when you can only have two colors in your pictures while the remaining has to fade away, though it's not gonna be as simple as the Desaturation feature in Photoshop. Not anymore, if you compare this...

The secret lies within the manipulation of colors. That simply tells you that you have to be very detail with the colors so you know which to brighten and which to darken. This site will teach you 7 techniques of converting image to Black and White. A very useful guide which reminds you about the difference between destructive and non-destructive processing. Yet, I personally found this much more helpful.
